HotelTime System

Can the system be set so that users have various rights?
Yes, users can be divided into user groups and the license set as needed. The license is part of users' rights and can be changed at any time.

Does the system have enough of a basis for accounting?
Yes, the system provides the outputs needed for accounting in accounting software such as hotel service according to resorts or accounting reports for the right tax payment. The system is not a substitute for accounting software.

Can it be joined with other Internet booking systems (Expedia, Booking, etc.)?
Yes, through a functional double sides interface the system is connected to the leading Internet booking systems such as Expedia and Booking. The reservation is received by the HotelTime System automatically so there is no need for faxes. It is also possible to set prices in these systems.

How do I find my past data?
Data is never deleted from the system. All the data from the first system installation is in the system and can always be found, for example in stepladders within lists, files or in invoice book etc.

Can the system also be used for a conference room?
Yes, there is a module for other hotel departments such as a conference room, sport sites, wellness and restaurants.

Can I set the system by myself?
Yes, the system can be fully set within the users' license. These settings can be changed during system use.

When does the system close at night?
System night closing is automatic and the time is set by the user in the system settings.

Can I work with the system out of my office?
Yes, one of the great advantages of the Internet system is that it can be used from anywhere with an Internet connection. The system can also be used on an IPhone.

Can the system be joined with other systems e.g. restaurant, lock etc.?
Yes, the system can be joined with other systems through an interface. For more details click here

Can the system be used to check unauthorized money transactions?
Yes, the system has sufficient functions to control money transactions for example through report services of hotel according to resorts, open account list, list of payments or list of unpaid invoices in module invoicing etc.

Can the system be used in another language than Czech?
Yes, the system can be switched to four languages (Czech, Slovak, English, German), even for individual users.

Can I book rooms through the system on-line?
Yes, apart from the user part there is also a public part of the system, where clients can create their own booking in on-line booking form. The reservation is immediately automatically confirmed, comes to the system and the client receives a voucher. There is no need to contact the hotel or guest.

How long does it take to start the system from signing the contract?
After completing the initial contract conditions the system can be started immediately. Before this the client fills in the questionnaire and sets the initial system settings. After the access key is handed the system is ready for immediate use.

How much do I have to invest before starting the system?
There is no initial investment needed to the start the system. There are only the regular monthly fees.

Are system upgrades included in the price or do I have to pay extra for them?
Upgrades launched centrally for all clients are free of charge. These are included in the monthly fee. The price of individual upgrades based on a client's request depends on mutual agreement.

How much is the HotelTime System?
The price of the system depends on the total capacity of rooms and is according to the applicable price list. Is training included in the price?
Yes. System Introduction training is included in the price according to the contract.

If I am not using the system e.g. because of the reconstruction of the accommodation facility, do I still have to pay for it?
Despite the contract conditions and valid pricelist such cases can be solved by mutual agreement.

How is the system support provided and at what time?
Phone support is available on working days from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. On Saturday, Sunday and during public holidays HOTLINE line is available for your requests from 8.30 a.m. to 12.30 a.m. The e-mail service is available on working days from Monday to Friday from 8 a.m. to 5.30 p.m. If your message is received at any other time it will be automatically registered and we will answer you as soon as possible. What hardware do I need to work with the system?
You must have a PC with an Internet connection to use the system. All other hardware expenses are the responsibility of HOTEL TIME, a.s. which maintains the database on its own servers.

What should I do, if my Internet connection fails?
In this case we recommend having an alternative emergency Internet connection in advance e.g. your mobile phone.

Can the system be used for more premises at a time?
Yes, the system can also be used for example for large hotel chains. The system can be switched from one hotel to another.

How frequent are system failures?
System failures are only due to operational causes which are necessary for regular system maintenance. These only take a few minutes and are carried out according to the contractual clause at night, when the hotel is operating at its lowest.

What is the weak point of the system?
A weak point of the system can be considered for example the different graphics of some system parts in different Internet browsers. Even though the system is available in all accessible Internet browsers, we recommend using Internet Explorer browser. All system tests have been conducted in this browser and we can not exclude differences in other browsers.

Can I try the system for free before buying it?
